NADFLY SHOP sells unique objects created by Nicola Atkinson Does Fly. She is an artist, curator and singer and works in the mediums of ceramic, metal, paint, ink, wood, paper, fabric, stone, canvas, sound, film, Digital media, printed works & found objects.
Nicola enjoys collaborating with curators, artists, musicians, architects, blacksmiths, stonemasons, writers, filmmakers, silversmiths, designers, ceramists, dancers and lighting designers. She has done so in towns and cities across the world from America, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Canada, England, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Pakistan, Japan, Scotland and Sweden, creating a wide variety of public art & design projects.
NADFLY is happy to consider wee or grand commissions. Presenting complex ideas to a wide range of groups, in terms of age and interests has been at the centre of Nicola’s public works for many years. Having worked with Local Authorities, as well as with the private sector and non-governmental organisations, she has developed a style that is adaptable and flexible within existing structures or working independently.
